IMG_3533

1.  6 oz baking chocolate (I use semi sweet chocolate chips)

2.  1 C butter

3.  3 Eggs

4.  2 C sugar

5.  1 TS vanilla

6.  1/2 C all purpose flour

Preheat oven to 300 degrees

Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, until the butter is melted, stir until smooth.

Beat eggs till yellow (app 5 min), add sugar and continue blending on low till combined.

Add vanilla and melted chocolate, continue to blend until smooth

Add flour and stir in by hand until blended.

Pour into greased 9 inch baking pan and bake on center rack for 40 min.  Turn oven off but allow pan to remain in the oven for an additional 15 minutes.

  2. oh man... I just read 6 oz chocolate 2 cups sugar and only 1/2 a cup of flour???

That does ironically sound like a recipe that fits my pantry cupboard state. (wide, salivating grin here)

  4. yeah... the lesser amount of flour is what makes them ooey gooey... want more cake like consistency add a bit! This is the way we like 'em though.
